Abrie Hayles
New Talent Stylist
Abrie Hayles will tell you that hairstylists are not magicians. Platinum blonde hair that is also 100% healthy is not on the menu, and she says so up front. Her rule for any big request is a straight conversation about what can and cannot be done, then under promise and over deliver.
She trained at The Salon Professional Academy and joined the Salon Kreed associate program in July 2026. Haircutting is her focus. The cuts she recommends right now are shags and fringe. The one she no longer recommends is the A-line bob.
She got into hair to do two things at once, hair for the theater and hair in a salon. Theater is still her other life. Off the clock she acts and works tech.
Her consultations run about ten minutes. She wants your inspo pictures, how you style your hair at home, and how often you plan to come in. When the service is done there is a second conversation, and she shows you how to style the cut yourself.
Her between-visit advice is specific. If you wear bangs, she will teach you to trim them yourself. For blondes, it is purple shampoo. Her favorite trick is a heated round brush, especially for bangs.
The client she would most like in her chair is around her age, open to change, and after fashion color or a fun alternative cut. Color blocking and raccoon tails are the trends she enjoys most. The moment she is proudest of so far is her graduation.
Early 2000s music plays while she works, Nirvana and Green Day in particular. If she could style anyone, it would be a blowout on Sabrina Carpenter.
Bring your inspo photos to Abrie at Salon Kreed in Colorado Springs.
