Alex Touchette got a job at Salon Kreed while still in cosmetology school, and counts that as the proudest moment so far. Alex started at TIGI Hairdressing Academy in September 2025 and joined the Salon Kreed front desk in June 2026.
Alex has always loved styling other people's hair, and went to school to learn how hair works and how to color it properly. The learning keeps going through the education Salon Kreed offers its whole team and educators Alex follows on Instagram, including Emily Chen and Jacob Kahn.
In school, color, balayage and cuts are the work Alex loves most and wants to keep growing in.
The two tools Alex cannot work without are a good blow dryer and a good round brush.
Away from the salon, Alex reads, gets outdoors, journals and does diamond art. The music depends on the day, usually alternative rock or pop-punk.
