Lauren Skinner is an Aveda-trained extension specialist with 16+ years behind the chair and a career devoted to helping clients feel confident in their own skin. She joins Kreed with deep expertise in weft and keratin-bond methods, plus a specialty in hair additions for thinning, balding, or low-density hair. Her signature finish leans natural and lived-in, with extensions used to enhance shape, fullness, and styling longevity.

Lauren began her career during the 2008 recession after working in event and wedding planning. That pivot led to bridal styling and quickly to a full focus on extensions. She has taught internationally for more than five years across two brands and helped build advanced education programs, experience that informs every consultation and service she provides. Having also owned salons and barbershops, she brings a well-rounded, client-first perspective to maintenance planning and long-term hair health.

At Salon Kreed, Lauren conducts thorough consultations, sets clear expectations, and invites feedback throughout the service so clients leave feeling heard and happy with their results. She works primarily with Oribe care and finishing and relies on long-barrel Bio Ionic irons to tailor curl patterns on extension hair.

Outside the salon, you’ll probably find Lauren cooking dinner and settling in for a movie night with her son and their dog, or sneaking in a round of golf. She is currently accepting new extension guests.
